The world depicted in these illustrations is just about the most beautiful place I can imagine. It's not the mod aesthetic that gets me, but the dreamy fusion of the outdoor and indoor environments. Our current digital/information age certainly is astounding, but the enthusiasm for the potential of the physical world during the mod era was so romantic and inspired.
